RUSSELL JOHN HUNTER

Russell John Hunter, born on October 21, 1934, passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by his children. He was a devoted husband to Polly Trevochka, who predeceased him. Russell is survived by his children, Heather, Cindy, Tammy, and Michael, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Sabrina, Scott, Sherry, and Melanie, and several great-grandchildren. He also cherished his sisters, Verna, who predeceased him, and Diane. Russell was the founder of a successful transportation business, Prestige Couriers & Grand Express. Visitation will be held at Glendale Funeral Home, located at 1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke, ON, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel on March 21st from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. The family extends their gratitude to the dedicated nurses and PSWs at Trillium Health Center for their exceptional care.
