PETER WYLIE McKINNON

Peter Wylie McKinnon passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in 1939 in Kirkland Lake, Peter chose to die on his own terms and in his own time through Medical Assistance in Dying. In a final act of generosity, Peter donated his remains to the University of Toronto to support vital medical education and research. He will be deeply missed by his loving partner, Wendy Neill; his sister, Sheila Steeves; and brother-in-law, Allan Steeves; his nephews, Daniel and Paul Steeves; and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation or a charity of your choice.
