MARIE DALE

Marie Dale (nee Quinlan) passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 86, in the arms of her children at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke. She is survived by her children, Anthony (Diane Simpson), James (Sandra Bosnar-Dale), Matthew (Kate Thurston-Dale), Nancy (David Grimmond), and Jessica (Cal Brunker); her grandchildren, Madeleine, Emma, Thomas, William, Finn, Zara, Oliver, Myles, Margot, and Emmett; and members of the extended Quinlan family. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, John Byron Dale (d. 2014); and her parents, Helen (nee Langley, d. 1995) and Michael (d. 1968). Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 9th, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, Thornhill Chapel, and on Friday, April 10th, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. Reception afterwards in the Church Hall. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
