GORDON EDWARD AGAR

Gordon Edward Agar passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 95. He died peacefully at his home in Etobicoke, Ontario, with family at his side. Gordon was a dedicated and renowned scientist and metallurgical engineer who spent his career at Inco/Vale and as an associate professor at the University of Toronto. He was an avid sailor and former Commodore at Lakeshore Yacht Club, where he and his wife Kathleen spent many happy years. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Agar; children, Rod Agar, Leslie and Agar-Waite; stepdaughter, Rebecca Young; stepdaughter-in-law, Carolyn Cioffari; and many grandchildren.
