BARBARA LYNN BUNKER

Barbara Lynn Bunker (nee Wilson) passed away peacefully in the memory wing of Malton Village Long Term Care on March 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on October 15, 1946, she began her life in Verdun, worked for Bell Canada, and started her family in Lachine, before spending the second half of her life in Etobicoke, where she raised her children, worked as a school secretary, and built her community. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend, known for her big heart and her unwavering desire to do good for the world. Barbara was beloved by her husband, Harold, her daughter, Kathryn, and her wife, Sara, her son, Andrew, and his wife, Tia, and her granddaughter, Lucy. She is survived by a large circle of family and friends who will miss her long phone calls, letters, shopping trips, card games, adventures, and holiday dinners.
