Patricia Mae (née Hedge) Merritt

Patricia Mae Merritt, née Hedge, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce, who died in 1997, and her sons Thomas and Dennis, who passed away in 1952 and 1974, respectively. Patricia is survived by her children Nancy, Pam, Tim, and Rick, and his wife Denise. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home in Essex, followed by interment at Woodslee United Church Cemetery.
