Mary "Elaine" (née McCarthy) Deehan

Mary 'Elaine' Deehan (née McCarthy) passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Gary, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage, and the devoted mother of Lana (Grant) Bergeron, the late Kelly (1972), Don (Amy), Joe (Sherry Renaud), and Bill (Carrie). Elaine was also the cherished 'Nan' to Liam (Julianna), Brielle (fiancée Will), Kellene (Nick Kwiatkowski), Nolan, Colin, Lainey, Emmett, Owen, Emma, and Knox. Born to the late Emmett and late Mary McCarthy, Elaine was predeceased by her siblings Moreen, Bob (Carolyn), Tom, and Chris (Kathy). She was also predeceased by her parents-in-law Theodore and Rita Deehan, and her brothers-in-law Sal (Paul), Mike (late Gloria), and Pat. Elaine is survived by her siblings Larry (Elizabeth) Donald, Dick McCarthy, Maggie McGuire (Tim), Dan McCarthy (Lori), and Kerry Kovac, as well as her sisters-in-law Roy (Donna) Deehan, Bryan (Dougall) Deehan, John (Jann) Deehan, and Tom (Carolyn) Deehan.
