Douglas Elwood Boylan

Douglas Elwood Boylan passed away suddenly on June 12, 2026, at Amica Senior Lifestyles in London, Ontario, at the age of 84. Born on September 28, 1941, in South Woodslee, Ontario, he was the son of the late Elmer Robert Boylan and Marie Violet Boylan and brother of the late William Robert Boylan. Douglas is survived by his sister Betty Pump and her brother-in-law Hans, and sister-in-law Sharon Boylan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jon, Ryan, Curtis, Todd, Scott, Wendy, Brett, and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaugnessy, Emerson, Katalina, Jayda, Joshua, Matthew, Jeremy, and Emily Boylan Johnson. Douglas was predeceased by his brother-in-law Robert. The family will receive friends at Reid Funeral Home in Essex, Ontario, on Friday, June 19, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at the Woodslee United Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Woodslee United Church or the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated.
