Vera MARTIN

Vera Martin passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson, and her brothers Vernon, Stan, Johnny, Emmanuel, Ernie, and sister Erma. Vera is survived by her children Richard (Toni), the late Gary (Deb), Michael, Marilyn (Dave) Weber, and Denise Martin. She is also lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Vera is survived by her sisters Rebecca Cressman, Marie (Ernie) Fretz, Marlene (Murray) Baker, and sister-in-law of Ken Baker, Mary Metzger, Doris Metzger, Helen Metzger, and Ann Martin, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery. In Vera's memory, donations to Hospice Waterloo Region would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home.
