Raymond "Ray" RUMIG

Raymond 'Ray' Rumig passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, at the age of 81, at Innisfree House Hospice. He was the loving husband of the late Liz Rumig, who predeceased him in 2022. Ray is survived by his children, Mary Hedrich and Ryan Rumig, and his grandchildren, Melissa Young and Jaxon Rumig, as well as his great-granddaughter Madison Young. He is also remembered by his siblings, Betty Geisel and Brenda Kempel, and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Matilda Rumig, and several siblings. At his request, cremation has taken place, and a memorial visitation will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home on August 10, 2026. A private family service will follow in Elmira Union Cemetery. Donations to Innisfree House Hospice would be appreciated in his memory.
