Marilyn MITCHELL

Marilyn Mitchell passed away peacefully at Hospice Waterloo Region on July 30, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Brian Mitchell for nearly 58 years and a devoted mother to Scott Mitchell (Kelly) and Jane Walker (Jason). Marilyn was a cherished Nana to Jacob and Lily Mitchell, and Mitch, Jonah, and Eliot Walker. She is also remembered as a dear sister to Ann Woeller and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Ada and Arthur Miller, her brother David Miller, brother-in-law Louis Woeller, and sister-in-law Pat Miller, Marilyn was born and raised in St. Jacobs and later made her home in Elmira. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on August 6, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, with a memorial service on August 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. A private family interment will follow.
