Margaret "Marg" BURROWS

Margaret 'Marg' Burrows passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the age of 71 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Ed Burrows, who predeceased her on September 23, 2023. Marg will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michelle and Derek Villemaire, and Rob and Corby Burrows. She will also be missed by her granddaughter Alexandra and great-grandson Myles. Marg is survived by her siblings, Bill Day, Mary Ellen and Chip Sherrer, as well as her sister-in-law Judy and Bill Lackner, and Linda Schinkel. She will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Marg was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Teresa Day, and her brother Dennis. She was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 469 in Elmira and had owned and operated Burrows Signs in Elmira with her husband Ed. Marg was also a longtime employee of Glenoit. Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at the Elmira Legion on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. Donations to WRHN - Cardiac Care or the Lung Association would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home.
