Louisa BRUBACHER

Louisa Brubacher passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 75. She was the wife of Amsey Brubacher of Elmira. Louisa was the mother of Anna (Amon) Martin of Elmira, Eva (Aden) Martin of Elmira, Martha (John) Steckle of Matheson, Ivan (Elmeda) Brubacher of Matheson, Naomi (Ervin) Martin of West Montrose, and Erla (Adam) Weber of Waterloo. She was also the sister of Selinda Martin, Amsey (Maryann) Gingrich, Ellen (Clayton) Bearinger, and sister-in-law of Lorene Gingrich. Louisa will be missed by eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Onias and Elvina Gingrich, brother Melvin, and brother-in-law Urias Martin. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-5 p.m. at the home of Amon and Anna Martin, 3124 Lobsinger Line, Elmira. A family service will be held at the home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 9 a.m., followed by burial and public service at the Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House.
