Edna BAUMAN

Edna Bauman peacefully passed away on August 30, 2026, at Hospice Waterloo Region, at the age of 97. She was the beloved wife of the late Mahlon Bauman (March 21, 2023) for nearly 65 years. Edna was a devoted mother to Sharon and Harold Paisley, Arnie and Katie Bauman, Doreen and Rick Shantz, and Don and Carolyn Bauman. She cherished her role as a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Edna is survived by her sister Laura Martin and in-laws Florence Martin, Irene Snyder, Rosie Bauman, Leona Bastiaansen, and Nyle and Kathy Bauman. She was predeceased by her parents Oliver and Susannah Martin, stepfather Aaron Hoffman, and several siblings and brothers-in-law. A dedicated homemaker and a faithful member of Woodside Bible Fellowship, Edna's visitation will be on September 3, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, with interment at Hawkesville Cemetery on September 4, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship.
