Catherine Jean STANAITIS

Catherine Jean Stanaitis passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 74 at WRHN - Midtown. She was a devoted mother to Joseph Stanaitis and Palmira Marshall, and a beloved grandmother to Terra, Damon, and Admira. Catherine is also remembered by her sister Janet Weber, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Osborne and Ruth Preston, as well as her sisters Gracie and Franny. Catherine dedicated many years to her work in housekeeping at Waterloo Heights Apartments, where she was well-regarded by her colleagues and residents. A lover of animals, she found solace in her faith and church community. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial visitation will be held on September 2, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington are welcomed.
