JUDY MAE EVALYN BROWNELL

Judy Mae Evalyn Brownell (nee Hopkins) passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in Uxbridge on August 10, 1947, she later lived in Stouffville and Oshawa before settling in Elliot Lake. She was the beloved wife of Alfred for 60 years. Judy was the loving mother of Marie (Tony), William (Leigh), Rosalyn, and Maureen (Stuart). She was a cherished grandmother of Hailey (Brandon), Curtis, Jenna, Malia, Aysha, Enza, Idris, Fiona, and Ewan, and a great-grandmother of Winter. Judy will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and her church family. She was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Kathleen (Anderson) Hopkins; sister Carol; brother Roy; and two children called home prematurely. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of other gifts, the family requests that you show love to one another, as Judy so faithfully did.
