Cornelius SPIERENBURG

Cornelius Spierenburg passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 87, at Parkview Meadows Townsend, surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his wives, Arda Spierenburg-dePager in 2021 and Peggy Spierenburg in 2005, as well as his brother, Rien Spierenburg. Cornelius is survived by his children, Jacqui Weiler and her husband Larry, and John Spierenburg and his wife Daienne, his six stepchildren and their families, many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters, Bruina Brown and Anne Detmar and her husband Klaas, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Dunnville on Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m. with visiting one hour prior, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
