Valerie Diane SPENCE (nee Beamish)

Valerie Diane Spence, nee Beamish, passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 87. She was the devoted wife of William 'Bill' Spence, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Valerie was a cherished mother to Bill Spence and Wendy Jeffery, and a proud grandmother to Billy Spence and Bradley Spence. She was also a devoted great-grandmother to Lilly Spence. Valerie was predeceased by her parents, Claire and George Beamish, her brothers Gary and Robert Beamish, and her in-laws Shirley Beamish, Robert and Joanne Spence. She is survived by her sister Judy Graham, brother Don Beamish, and sister-in-law Joan Beamish, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 11, 2026, at the Marlatt Funeral Home.
