Sydney Joseph Journeay

Sydney Joseph Journeay, born on October 11, 1942, passed away peacefully at Hampton Terrace in Burlington on May 23, 2026, at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Dawn and loving father to Tammie, David, and Garth. Sydney is survived by his sisters Phylis, Audrey, Lorraine, Elaine, Marsha, and Nancy, and predeceased by his sister Ceclis and brother Percy. He was a grandfather to Daniel, Gillian, Jessica, and the late Jennifer, and a great-grandfather to Raylene and Paisley. Sydney is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A retired Stelco employee of 32 years, Sydney enjoyed golf games, climbing, and walking. He also enjoyed sudoku and cards. Cremation has taken place, and a funeral will be held in Saint John, N.B.
