Sister Mary Elizabeth Farley

Sister Mary Elizabeth Farley passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on January 3, 1929, in Peterborough, Ontario, she was predeceased by her parents, Stanislaus and Elizabeth Farley, and her siblings, Patrick, Roy, Catherine, Frank, and Alma. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Sister Elizabeth dedicated her life to her faith, joining the Monastery of the Precious Blood in 1945 and taking her First Profession of Vows in 1947. She served as Superior in several monasteries and held terms on the General Council. Visitation and Vigil prayers will be held on August 13, at 7:00 p.m., at the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery in Dundas, followed by a Funeral Mass on August 14, at 10:30 a.m., presided by Bishop Wayne Lobsinger. Interment will take place on August 17, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Peter's Cemetery in London.
