Silvanus GRANT

Silvanus Agatha Grant, born June 5, 1939, passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 87. She was a native of Montpelier, Hanover, Jamaica, and later resided in Dundas, Ontario. She was the first child of Martin and Augustina Grant. Survivors include her siblings Richard, Ambrosia, Elsaida, Cynthia, Gloria, Thermutis and Veronica; their sister Marvie predeceased her. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as close friends in Canada: Kathryn Rogers, Michelle Hendley, Bruce Swaby, Barbara Wood, Barb Williams, and family members Marcia Miller and Ronald Johnson. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on August 26, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, with burial thereafter at Grove Cemetery.
