Ross John BLAIR

Ross John Blair passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in his 79th year, after a short battle with Cancer. Born in Hamilton, Ross was the loving husband of Donna Hamilton of Ancaster, father to Joseph Blair and Katie Sye, both of Kentucky, and stepfather to Christine Henson of Waterdown and Brenda Greene of Guelph. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Olive Blair, and his brother, David Blair. Ross is survived by his sister, Frances Roberts of Ancaster, and will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ross was a Firefighter in Hamilton for 35 years and had various other pursuits. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Brooklyn, Austin, Lexington, Ava, Andrew, Caroline, Chloe, and Hannah. A Celebration of Life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre in Dundas on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with spoken words of remembrance at 2 p.m.
