Jozsef "Joe" BIRO

Jozsef 'Joe' Biro passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the loving husband of the late Irene and father of the late Emese and Joe Jr. Joe is survived by his grandchildren, Erika, Alex, Max, Samantha, Deanna, and Stephen. Born and raised in Hungary, Joe later immigrated to Canada, where he met his wife. He enjoyed sharing meals and stories with family and friends, as well as pursuits such as engraving, moose hunting, and camping in Northern Ontario. The family is grateful for the support Joe received in his final years, particularly from the personal support workers and nurses at St. Elizabeth. A burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery on August 14th at 1 p.m., followed by a gathering at the family's home.
