John Bernard PICONE

The family of John Bernard Picone announces his peaceful passing on August 29, 2026, at Margaret's Place Hospice. He was the beloved husband of the late Alma Picone and a devoted father to John Jr. (Karen), Gail, and Greg (Heather). John was a proud grandfather to Christina, John-Michael (Lindsay), Vincent (Melisa), Patrick, Lorena, Leah (Daniel), Adriana, and step-grandson Matthew, as well as a cherished great-grandfather to Ronan, Ryder, Niall, Ava, Duke, Joseph, and Vivienne. He was the loving son of the late Joseph and Josephine Picone and Anthony and Rose Morelli. John was a dedicated parishioner of St. Augustine's Church in Dundas, a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, and an active community volunteer for over 30 years. Family and friends are invited to visit Turner Family Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church on Saturday, September 5, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at St. Augustine's cemetery.
