Janet Mary Cleghorn

Janet Mary Cleghorn of Dundas, Ontario, passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on March 21, 1934, Janet was a beloved member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her husband, Jock Cleghorn, and her father, Reginald Brighton. Janet is survived by her children, Amanda, Laura, and Angus, along with their spouses, Gavin, Paul, and Julie. She cherished her grandchildren, Andrew, Simon, Lucas, Claire, Matthew, and Ella. Janet is also remembered by her sisters, Judy, Alison, and Gillian, and her significant other, Eric Broughton. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to honor her memory through donations to Interval House or a charity of their choice, and to celebrate her kindness and listening spirit together.
