James Melvin Michael (Hawkrigg) FOURNIER
Dundas, Ontario - It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the tragic death of our beautiful baby boy, James. James, only in his 19th month on Earth, died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family. The overwhelming emotional pain, grief, and deep sorrow that we will forever feel, is a testament to just how much this special little boy impacted so many lives in his incredibly short time on Earth!
James Melvin Michael will always be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by his incredible parents, Michael and Allison Fournier (Hawkrigg); as well as his endlessly devoted big sister, Charley. James's memory will forever be cherished by his grandparents, Wendy Fournier "Aba", Ron Fournier "Papa", Dagmar Burnell "Granny", Michael "Papa", and Rosemary "Mimi" Hawkrigg. Great-grandmother, Marilyn Hawkrigg; predeceased and welcomed with open arms by his loving great-grandparents, Melvin Michael Hawkrigg, Peter and Gerarda Burger. James will always hold a special place in the hearts of his aunts, uncles, and cousins, John and Chantal Phelps (Fournier), Adam Burnell, Sarah and Celina Gillis, Matthew and Elizabeth Ross (Hawkrigg), Courtney Hawkrigg and James Hawkrigg. Special cousins include Kayden, Oliver, Declan, Casey, Isla, Hudson, Finley, and Katherine. James will also be sorely missed, and was very much loved, by many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Although his time on Earth was cut far too short, James had such an impact on every room he entered and every person he met. He had a smile that would melt your heart and was the sweetest, most loving little boy! Inquisitive, funny, athletic, and always happy! James loved his Mommy and Daddy so intensely and adored, and already looked up to, his big sister, Charley. James had recently just begun a very exciting and formative new chapter in his life at Dundas Valley Montessori School.
