Ineke 'Nickie' Tamboer (nee Simons)

Ineke 'Nickie' Tamboer, nee Simons, passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 74. She was the beloved wife of Otto for over 51 years and will be deeply missed by her children, Jackie and Jimmy, and her grandchildren, Kees and Ana. Ineke is also survived by her siblings, Josephine, Mary, and Frank Simons, as well as many nieces and nephews. She cherished her role as 'Mumsie' to her cats, Squeak and Shadow, and loved her family home in Strabane, where she and Otto created a lifetime of memories. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on July 25, 2026. If desired, donations in her memory may be made to the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital.
