Arthur MITCHELL

Arthur Mitchell passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, daughter Diane, son Paul, and granddaughters Emily, Sadie, Holly, and Megan. Art was predeceased by his sister, Betty-Ann Sullivan, and cousin Bruce Collard. A dedicated employee of Stelco and later a background worker in the film industry, Art was a constant presence in his community, enjoying sports and coaching. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, dry humour, and kindness. A celebration of life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre on August 19, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton YMCA building expansion or the SPCA would be appreciated.
