MARGARET WEAIT

Margaret Barstow Weait, known to everyone as 'Padge,' passed away on February 18, 2026. Born to Henry Loren Barstow and Margaret Pitt Barstow, she was raised among many relatives. Padge met Christopher Weait in a high school music ensemble and the couple married for 65 years. She was a devoted spouse to Christopher, a mother to Richard and Elizabeth, and a grandmother to Jocelyn and Cameron. Padge was a skilled musician, teacher, and member of orchestras in Columbus, Ohio, and Toronto, Ontario. She also enjoyed various crafts, including pottery, quilting, and woodworking. The funeral arrangements are by Schoedinger in Worthington, Ohio, with burial of the cremains to follow in Norfolk, Connecticut, and a gathering in celebration of her life to be arranged later this year in Dublin, Ohio.
