KLAUS NOACK
Klaus Noack, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lynn; children, Paul (Kim), Debbie (Morten), and Carrie (David); grandchildren, Leis (Esteban), Caylee, Sarah, Maddie, Curtis, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Kaia and Bash. Born in Dresden, Germany, Klaus immigrated to Canada when he was 12. He had many happy memories in the '50s, racing stock cars at Pinecrest Speedway and opening a car service station with his business partner and brother-in-law, and in the '60s, marrying Lynn and starting a family. In the '70s, Klaus found great joy on the water as a longtime member of Queen City Yacht Club, and held several board positions, including Commodore and recently Honorary Commodore. After being introduced to yacht racing, he became an avid fixture in the racing scene, cherishing the competition and the camaraderie of the sailing community. A man of great character and enduring commitment, Klaus was a proud member of the A. F. and A. Masons for over 60 years. Klaus enjoyed playing chess and ping pong, and taught his grandchildren how to play too. A celebration of Klaus's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke, or a charity of your choice.
