INA-MARIE HUPPONEN

Ina-Marie Hupponen passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 64. She is survived by her siblings, Harvey Hupponen (Sandy), Douglas Hupponen (Lorrie), Brenda Gauvin, and Karen Dewees (Dave), as well as her nieces and nephews. Ina-Marie was predeceased by her parents, Eino and Sylvia Hupponen, and her husband, Kevin Timmins (2019). She was a loving sister, aunt, and great-aunt, and will be remembered for her interest in her family's lives. Ina-Marie was also remembered by her Aunt Velma and many close friends in Vancouver and Toronto. She grew up in Don Mills and graduated from Glendon College, BA, York University, in 1984. Ina-Marie worked as a professional fundraiser at various organizations, including CNIB and OISE University of Toronto, and was a member of the Canadian Assoc. of Gift Planners and the Sierra Club Vancouver Lower Mainland. She was proud of her Finnish heritage and enjoyed relaxation at the cottage, the theatre, and travelling. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
