Rita Villeneuve

Rita Villeneuve of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on August 21, 1942, she is remembered by her family and friends. Rita was predeceased by her parents, Oscar Villeneuve and Yvette Villeneuve, as well as her siblings: Louise Pilgrim (late Mickey), Alex Villeneuve (Linda), Georges Villeneuve, and Sandra Podsiad (late John). She is survived by her niece, Natasha Podsiad (Andre Morin), her great-nephews, Dominic Morin and Denis Morin (Chelsie Patenaude), and her great-niece, Julie Bergeron (Adam), along with Zachary, Terrance, Lily, and Delilah. Additionally, she leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home, located at 822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM, with burial at Notre-Dame Cemetery, 17945 S Branch Rd, South Stormont, ON K6H7T7, at 11:00 AM. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
