Rebecca Besner of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 55. She was born on July 13, 1971. Rebecca is survived by her husband Mario, her daughters Jennifer and Emily, and her sister Connie Shearer. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Doris Collins, and her brother Chuck. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON K6J 3S2. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cornwall OSPCA in memory of Rebecca’s service as its President.
