Marilyn (Lynn) Patricia Cheetham

Marilyn (Lynn) Patricia Cheetham, of South Lancaster, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, just shy of her 91st birthday, at the Cornwall Community Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the loving mother of Dawn Bilmer, Anne Curry (Greg), Douglas Cheetham (Britta), and David Cheetham (Joann). Lynn was a proud grandmother to Chris (Michelle), Jennifer, Ryan (Amy), Kyle, Joel, Nicky, Jack, and Charlie, and a great-grandmother to Brennan, Tumica, and Kalista, as well as a great-great-grandmother to Addison. She is survived by her sisters Mary (David) and Beverly (Allan), and her brothers Barry (Linda) and Glenn (Pat), and was predeceased by her brother Charles (Chappie) and his late wife, Lois. Lynn dedicated many years to the City of Cornwall and will be remembered for her kindness and strength. Visitation will be held at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. on August 14, 2026, from 9 to 11 am, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:30 am and interment at the Catholic cemetery. The family appreciates the compassionate care provided by the staff at Cornwall Community Hospital and Ottawa General Hospital Cancer Unit.
