Jean Isabell McDonald

Jean Isabell McDonald of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on January 26, 1927, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Howard William McDonald, as well as her parents, John James and Julia Ann Sullivan. She also mourned the loss of her brothers, Willard (late Dorothy), Ralph (late Claire), Keith (late Edith), and Howard Sullivan, along with sisters-in-law Margaret McFall (Charles) and Monica Paynter (late Bill). Jean is survived by her children, Glenn (Susan) and Gary (Rosanne) McDonald, her grandchildren, John, Kyle, James (Chaste), Thomas, and Gavin (Shelby) McDonald, and great-grandchildren Zach and Mathew McDonald. Visitation will take place on September 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home - West Branch. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
