Gilles Lamothe

Gilles Lamothe of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents, René and Pauline Lamothe, and his sister Jean Dion. Gilles is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Lamothe; his children, Daniel Lamothe (Cindy) and Julie Seguin (late Michel); and his grandchildren, Barbara, Jeana, Daniel, and Renée. He also leaves behind his siblings, Vic Lamothe (Marlene), Aline Cashion, Robert Lamothe (Paulette), Maurice Lamothe, Andy Lamothe (Natalie), Aurele Lamothe (Shirley), and Diane Lamothe, as well as his siblings-in-law, Gerry Dion, Michael Gravel (Johanne), and Cecile Flaro. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Parish, followed by burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Carefor Hospice would be appreciated.
