He was predeceased by his parents, Serge Tremblay and Marilyn Simpson. He is survived by his children, Samson Tremblay, Brady Tremblay, and Karmen Thompson, as well as his siblings, Robert Simpson, Magie Marquis, Trina Northardt, Linda Sunday, and Serge Tremblay Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gary's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cornwall General Hospital Foundation.
