Denise Benoit

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Benoit of Cornwall, Ontario, who left us on September 16, 2026, at the age of 72. Denise was predeceased by her husband, Robert Marchand, and her parents, Gerard and Jeannette Caron. She is survived by her sister, Micheline Baker (Kevin) of Long Sault, her mother-in-law Aline, and her sister-in-law Louise Burnie. Denise also leaves behind her stepchildren, Cindy Maxam (Bill) of Cornwall and Denis Benoit of Calgary, along with her stepgrandchildren, Braydon, Landon, and Avery. She is remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, Erin Alcaide (Vince), Shannon Snelgrove (Mark), and Allison Belanger (Denis). Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home - West Branch, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or Carefor Hospice Cornwall are appreciated.
