He was predeceased by his former wife Corinne Mallette, his wife Theresa Roy, and his parents Frank and Eva Mallette. He is survived by his son Ronald Mallette, his grandchildren Tasha Mallette and Greg Mallette, his siblings William Mallette, Frances Laframboise and Bertha Mallette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
