Charles Garrett Wert

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Charles Garrett Wert of Cornwall, Ontario. Charles was born on March 21, 1942, and he passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his wife, Carrol Wert; his parents, Anna and Fred Wert; and his siblings, Ida Johnson, Grant Wert (Alice), George Wert, and Muriel Gallant. Charles is survived by his daughters, Amanda Thompson (David) and Melissa Moxon (Chris); his grandchildren, Nolan (Samantha), Emma, and Grace; and his sister, Joan Spooner. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home - West Branch, located at 20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J 2X7. Donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
