Carmen (née Sauvé) Struthers

The family of Carmen Struthers (née Sauvé) announces her passing on August 21, 2026, at Glen Stor Dun Lodge, at the age of 94. Carmen was the devoted wife of the late Edouard Struthers and a loving mother to Martine (Willy Solak), Stéphane, and Brigitte (Steve Dubois). She was a cherished grandmother to Gabriel, Justine, and Laurent. Carmen is survived by her siblings Agathe Ravary, Jean-Eudes Sauvé (Claire De Villers), Jacques Sauvé, and Charlotte Gauthier, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, René Sauvé and Olivia Chatelain, as well as three sisters and three brothers. Family and friends may gather at Lahaie and Sullivan East Branch, Cornwall, on August 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Felix De Valois at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Nativity Cemetery. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Glen Stor Dun Lodge and CHP for their compassionate care. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
