William Prentice of Collingwood, Ontario, passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on May 27, 1939, he is predeceased by his wife, Gloria, and his siblings, Marie and Bob. William is survived by his children, Dean (Julie), Dwayne (Suzanne), and Derek (Erin); his grandchildren, Robert, Victoria (Dylan), Hailey (Colton), Jorja (Jude), Edin (Carter), and Lena; his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Olivia, and Jaxon; as well as his siblings, Don and Mary. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Norduff Room at the Honeywood Arena. Donations in his memory may be made to The Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation or the North of 89 Alliance.
