Ruth Ellen (nee Haystead) PIFER

Ruth Ellen Pifer (nee Haystead) passed away on April 26, 2026, in her 92nd year. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Pifer. Ruth is survived by her children, Lillian (Darren) and Fred (Peggy), and predeceased by her son John. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Grace, Alicia, Katherine (Colin), Kendra, Zachary, and Jason, and her great-grandchildren, Madison, Marissa, Olivia, and Jack. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Stayner Chapel on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Stayner, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11 o'clock, with visitation one hour prior. A reception will follow in the church hall, and interment will be at Westmount Baptist Cemetery, Collingwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church, Stayner, would be appreciated by the family.
