Frances Ricketts

Frances Ricketts of Collingwood, Ontario, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 2, 1942, Frances was surrounded by family and friends throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, James; children, Rob (Diana) and Renee (Kevin); and grandchildren, Avery, Rowan, and Jake. Frances is also remembered by her brothers, Dave (Norma) and Joe; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Anna, Jane, Richard (Nancy), Peter (Lona), and John; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Bear Estate, located at 300 Balsam St, Collingwood, ON L9Y0B3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society, or consider donating a children's book to your local library in her memory.
