Charlie Young

Charlie Young of Collingwood, Ontario, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on September 18, 1938. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Humphrey; his son, Robert; his stepchildren, Rick and April (Troy); his grandchildren, Melissa, Robert, Lauren and Allison; his brother, Robert McLean; his brother‑in‑law, Chris Wickens (Susan); and friends Glenn and Philippa. A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room of the Eddie Bush Arena, 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, ON L9Y 4V2. Contributions in his memory may be directed to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation.
