Richard Henry Madsen of Port Colborne, Ontario, passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Clara Madsen, and his sister Kirstine Asher (Don). He is survived by his wife Joanne; his children, Ron (married to Laura) and Peggy‑Jo; his grandchildren Hannah, Seth (married to Sandra), Sarah and Luke; his brothers Georg Madsen (married to Carolyn) and Niels Madsen (married to Mary); and his siblings‑in‑law Delores Goddard (late Bill), Debbie Cummings (late Ron), Lorna Horner (married to Mike) and Lorne Ellis (married to Margaret), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations to Niagara Shorthills Christian Ministries are appreciated.
