MELANIE "TASS" CORBIER

Melanie 'Tass' Corbier passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward 'Buck' Corbier. Tass was the loving mother of Gary, Rebeccah Farrington, Randy, Matthew, Jolene Bannister, and Josie Douglas. She was also the cherished grandmother of Hannah, Owen, Axel, Samantha, Tyler, Melodie, Jazmine, Breanna, Sarah, Cheyenne, Blake, Liam, and Corey. Tass was the great-grandmother of Guardian, Ember, and Mahach. She was the dear sister of Leigh Chestnut-Halls and Bill Chestnut. Tass will be deeply missed by her extended family, too numerous to list, with special thanks to Jackie and Dirk Roecker, Patti Perret, and her PSW Adriana Raskin. Friends will be received at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Colborne on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Grafton on Thursday, February 19, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tass can be made to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice.
