Karen Elaine (Koabel) Kohl

Karen Elaine (Koabel) Kohl of Port Colborne, Ontario, passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on October 14, 1947, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Elizabeth (Betty), her siblings, Wendy Boyd and Wilf, her son-in-law John, and her in-laws, Wilfred, Ida Kohl, David, and Doug Kohl. She is survived by her husband Dawson, her children Dawson Shawn (Krista), Christine Kropp, and Kevin, as well as her grandchildren Bayley (Jesse), Roman, Konrad, Jonathan (Caitlyn), Ella (Birkaran), and Emma, and her great-grandchildren Aubrey, Isaiah, and Xavier. Visitation took place on October 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, followed by a celebration of life on October 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to South Niagara Life.
