Joan Marie Warkentin

Joan Marie Warkentin passed away at the Welland General Hospital on July 3, 2026. She was predeceased by her loving husband George, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage, as well as her son Mark and sisters Bernice and Doris. Joan will be deeply missed by her sons Mike and his wife Elizabeth, Kevin and his wife Cynthia, and Terry and his wife Sharon, as well as her granddaughters Justina and her husband Eric, and Kelsey, and her great-granddaughter Remi. The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Portal Village retirement home. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on July 13th at the Be In Christ Church in Wainfleet, followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of one's choice.
