Albertus Cornelius (Neill) BESSELINK
Albertus Cornelius (Neill) Besselink passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 63. He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Leo Besselink, sister, Marisa (Martin), niece, Sarah (Daniel), and nephew, Michael (Lindsay). Neill is predeceased by his mother, Janny Besselink. He will also be dearly missed by his aunt, uncle, and cousins in the Netherlands, as well as his friends at Tim Hortons. The family extends special thanks to Janice and the staff at Community Living, and to Bob and his staff at the Heartland Forest woodworking group. Neill was an avid Buffalo Sabres fan and enjoyed attending car races and the Monster Truck show. He was heavily involved in Special Olympics, achieving notable success in softball, powerlifting, bowling, and speed skating, including a gold medal at the 2007 Special Olympics World Games in Shanghai, China. Neill developed his woodworking skills and created many charcuterie boards. He will be remembered for his hard work, humble personality, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends. Cremation has taken place, and Neill's family will receive friends at Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel Inc.
